About Drinklings Coffee Roasters

Drinklings Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster and coffeehouse based in Wilmore, Kentucky, serving Lexington, Central Kentucky, and coffee lovers across the United States. Since 2016, our mission has been simple: to provide exceptional coffee that fosters fellowship, hospitality, and imagination.

Our name is inspired by The Inklings, the legendary literary society that gathered in Oxford, England. Writers such as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien met regularly over food, drink, and conversation to share ideas, challenge one another, and cultivate their craft. We believe coffee can play a similar role today—creating spaces where people slow down, connect with others, and engage the world more thoughtfully.

As a Kentucky coffee roaster, we are passionate about sourcing high-quality coffees from around the world and roasting them with care. Every coffee has a story, from the farmers who cultivate it to the communities that enjoy it. Our goal is to honor that story by highlighting the unique character of each origin while maintaining a commitment to ethical sourcing, transparency, and long-term relationships.

We believe coffee is more than a daily routine. It is an invitation to gather. Whether shared around a kitchen table, enjoyed during a quiet morning of reflection, served in a bustling coffee shop, or brewed for a congregation after worship, coffee has a remarkable way of bringing people together.

Through the Drinklings 242 Program, we provide wholesale coffee, brewing equipment, installation, training, and ongoing support for churches, offices, schools, and coffee-serving organizations throughout Central Kentucky.
